The catering contract for HMP Ranby has been retained by 123 Ltd, who have been the contractor for the last 2 years. 123 Ltd operate the kitchens in 10 prisons in the UK, and will provide 7000 breakfasts, lunches and dinners weekly to over 1000 inmates at Ranby as well as servicing the staff canteen for 400 prison employees. The kitchens at HMP Ranby employ only 4 full time staff, the majority of the preparation, cooking and serving of the meals being done by serving prisoners
