Hydebank Wood, in south Belfast, holds two quite different populations on one site. The College side, with a strong focus on education, learning and employment, holds young men aged 18–24. Ash House, on the same grounds, is Northern Ireland’s only women’s prison, holding women on remand and serving sentences of any length.
