Near Bishopbriggs on the edge of Glasgow, HMP Low Moss holds adult male prisoners of every kind, from remand through to long-term and life sentences. The current building opened in 2012 on the site of an earlier prison, and was Scotland’s first newly built, publicly run prison in around 30 years.
