HMP Perth is a large, community-facing prison with room for over 630 prisoners, taking people mainly from courts in Perth & Kinross, Dundee, Angus and Fife. It holds adult male prisoners across a wide range of categories – remand, short-term, long-term and life sentence prisoners, including some sexual offenders and prisoners subject to an Order of Lifelong Restriction (OLR).
