Opened in 2014 on the outskirts of Peterhead, HMP & YOI Grampian replaced both the old HMP Aberdeen and the historic HMP Peterhead. It’s the only high-security prison in the north-east of Scotland, and holds men in Ellon Hall and women in Banff Hall.
