Opened in 2023 next to the site of the former Cornton Vale, HMP & YOI Stirling is Scotland’s national prison for women, holding remand and convicted women of all ages and security levels, including a Mother and Baby Unit. It also oversees Scotland’s two Community Custody Units for women, the Bella Centre and the Lilias Centre.
