Visits are booked by the prisoner through the in-cell secure kiosk system, giving at least 48 hours’ notice; queries about visiting can be directed to Forward Trust, who manage the Visitors’ Centre, on 01759 488887 or hmpmillsike-vbooking@forwardtrust.org.uk.
Adult visitors will need photo ID such as a passport or driving licence, plus proof of address; children need a birth certificate or similar. Security checks include drug-detection dogs, X-ray body scanners and rub-down searches, so arriving with time to spare before your visit is advisable. As this is a very new prison, it is worth double-checking exact visiting days, times and ID requirements directly with the Visitors’ Centre before travelling.
The Visitors’ Centre, including its Combat2Coffee café run by veterans in recovery, is operated by Forward Trust.
